As an Air Force brat, Todd Miller traveled throughout the US and Europe, landing in Fayetteville, North Carolina at the age of fifteen. There he started playing guitar in bands and doing a few little theatre gigs. A few lost weekends later he found himself in a classroom at the University of North Carolina in Charlotte. Miller then spent the next twenty years gigging, recording, and teaching guitar in the Charlotte area. As he has a bad attitude and does not play well with others, Miller played in numerous bands throughout the years, including Cherry Bomb, Daddy Blue, Colorblind, Cry Uncle, Cookie, Blind Taxi, and a few dozen others.
Guitarist Miller is a big fan of Jeff Beck, Eddie Van Halen, and Steve Morse. Favorite songwriters and bands include The Beatles, the Who, Prince and Stevie Wonder.
These days Miller spends his days performing with Stoneage Romeos, teaching music, and his nights torturing his wife, his two children, and his band mates.
Kathy was born sassy - at least that’s what she’s been told. However, she was a late bloomer when it came to singing professionally.
Kathy moved from New Jersey to Charlotte, North Carolina when she was in her 20s. Through the urging of a friend, she joined the classic rock cover band The Core as a backup singer, eventually taking over as front person when the position became available. From there, she helped form and manage the successful 80’s cover band Cherry Bomb, which won Creative Loafing’s ‘Best Dance Band’ two years in a row.
Kathy met and married Todd and they have performed together in various ensembles ever since. With a move from Charlotte to the Raleigh area, she decided to take a break from performing and focus on being a great mom. Most recently, she joined the pop/dance band PartyLine and she and Todd continue to perform as an acoustic duo.
Kathy’s influences include Diana Ross, Stevie Nicks, Sheryl Crow, Barbra Streisand, Madonna, Prince, Michael Jackson, the Eagles, Sting and so many more!
